The PS Centre works in partnership with research institutions and other psychosocial stakeholders, and has a roster group of experts that can be called upon for various assignments. In addition to the support of Danish Red Cross, the PS Centre is funded by a group of National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
Partnerships are very valuable to the PS Centre. As the roster group, the partnerships provide valuable networks and represent a wealth of resources, both in terms of knowledge and access to important stakeholders in the world of humanitarian and academic psychosocial support, without which it would not be the centre of excellence it strives to be.
The PS Centre co-leads and cooperates with the Inter-Agency Standing Committee’s (IASCs) Reference Group for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings. The PS Centre is also on the steering committee for the Mental Health Psychosocial Support Network (MHPSS).
